With a plural we leave the fabric in one piece.

Striped fabric; the stripes are 7/8 inch (2.2 cm) wide.
The fabric is woven with a twill weave, making it slightly thicker than standard quilting cotton.
However, it is still supple enough to work with easily.
These fabrics are perfect for use as borders around quilts. Judy Newman & Mariëtte Leunisse have also used them in their quilts.
